Coventry Assisted Living

The second Coventry Assisted Living community opened October 1, 2005 in Siler Business Park on Old US Highway 421 in Siler City, North Carolina.  Since its inception, Coventry House of Siler City has proudly served Chatham County and the surrounding area, bringing first class assisted living to our residents and families.

Modeled after Granville House, its sister community in Oxford, North Carolina, Coventry House of Siler City is licensed for 52 beds and offers large private and companion rooms, and also has a limited number of 2-bedroom suites ideal for couples who desire to escape the burdens of keeping up a home while gaining the added benefit of 24-hour personal care.

All accommodations feature in-room cable television and private telephone service and while the entire community is served by central heating and air conditioning, each resident room or suite is also equipped with its own in-room heating and cooling system, allowing residents to regulate temperatures to the desired level.

The personal care staff of Coventry House of Siler City are under the direct supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse, and staff are on duty 24/7 to provide assistance with individual resident needs such as medciation administration, bathing, dressing and toileting, and other basic activities of daily living.

The third and newest Coventry community opened March 1, 2006 in Zebulon, North Carolina.  Licensed for 60 beds, Coventry House of Zebulon is an upscale assisted living community offering the finest in asssited living services to Zebulon and eastern Wake County.

Essentially the same floor plan as its sister community in Siler City, Coventry House of Zebulon is also a 60-bed community and features the same modern first-class accommodations, including spacious private and companion rooms and 2-bedroom suites, all with handicap-accessible private bathrooms, cable TV service and private phone lines.  A full range of activities is available and the same Coventry commitment to excellence is evident throughout the community.

Community involvement is the cornerstone of our success in Zebulon.  Coventry House of Zebulon has quickly established itself as the assisted living community of choice in eastern Wake County, and we are committed to maintaining this position as we continue to be honored to serve our residents and families.

Founded in 2000, Granville House is a 60-bed assisted living residence. All accommodations feature full private baths with handrails, handicap access showers, and an emergency call system in both the bedroom and bathroom areas.  Cable television and private telephone lines are also available in each room.  While not required, residents are encouraged to bring their own furnishings from home to create their own unique, personalized living space.  Residents can choose from private or companion room accomodations.

Granville House has long been a cornerstone of the Oxford community.  The majority of our residents hail from the greater Oxford area and almost all are lifelong residents of Granville County. 

We are particularly proud of the stability of our staff.  Blessed with a turnover rate dramatically below that of the industry as a whole, we are able to provide more personalized care to our residents.  Our personal care staff is under the direct supervision of a full-time licensed nurse who serves as Director of Resident Care.

Our strong activity program caters to the social and community needs of our residents…..we strive to bring the community to our residents, as many of them are no longer able to travel out into the community as much as they would like.  Some of the innovative programs include a monthly dance where a local country & western band plays for our residents and their families. 

As the first of the Coventry Assisted Living communities, Granville House laid the foundation for our expansion........while our commitment to excellence may have started in Oxford, our philosophy of caring extends to all of our communities.
